Blueberry Biscuits

Whenever I make these biscuits they are gone in seconds flat. I do have 3 teenagers...but, I'm pretty sure everyone will love these sweet, almost cake-like biscuits.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup sugar

5 Tbs butter

4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

4 ounces of blueberries.

-

1/4 cup cream

2 Tbs sugar

Direction:

Freeze butter. Preheat oven to 450.

1) Sift together salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder in a bowl.

2) Add the cold milk and vanilla into the dry ingredients and mix.

3) Grate your frozen butter  evenly over dough. Fold dough, and knead...repeat until all the butter is spread evenly throughout the dough.

4) Fold in Blueberries

5) Roll dough out to about 1/2 to 1 inch thickness and cut into desired shape. Baste the top with the cream and sprinkle with sugar. Place on greased baking sheet and Bake for 7 - 12 min.  They should look golden.
